4 outdoor game ideas for teens

The weather is good, and you miss the breath of fresh air, so you’re itching to go out. However, what’s to do when you’re outside? We’re so used to entertaining ourselves at home with Youtube videos and streaming services, we forget that there is a variety of activities we can do without all the gadgets. Here we have four awesome, digital device-free ideas for you to enjoy some sun kisses while having a great time.

Idea 1: Fly a drone.

What it’s a fun idea: By now, everyone knows what a drone is, but most of the times when we hear about it, it’s how they can be deployed in various ways: most notably taking breathtaking pictures and delivering food and good, and it’s easy to forget that flying a drone can be purely entertainment.

And there are so many drones out there on the market, and depending on your need, you can always find one that you want. Flying a drone in the open is a great way to breathe fresh air or / and take amazing photos. Better yet, you can do it by yourself, and you can turn it into a fun team activity. Don’t forget to check what you need to know (link to another blog) if you’re a beginner.

Spy Racer

Spy Racer is 2.4Ghz stunt drone meanwhile with build-in camera able to take pictures and videos with a button press. It’s relatively small, which means it is portable, and all you need to do to take pictures from above is a press of a button, which means it is one of the most beginner-friendly choices, so even kids can take pictures with it!

It’s also durable which means you can worry less about bumping it into obstacles – it is unlikely to be broken easily.

Idea 2: Nature trail with a remote-controlled car

Hiking nature trails is a great way to get away from big cities and for anyone to remember the beauty of nature. If your kids seem a bit less motivated to try out the option (after all, it can be a bit difficult for children if they are not used to hiking), tempt them with the prospect of having a remote-controlled car as their company. This way, they have a purpose (try out remote-controlled cars on different terrains) and they can associate fun with outdoor activities. Bonus: it can put their driving skills to test and they can feel challenged to better their coordinations!

Xspeed 3

Hiking is not going to be a race, but it doesn’t mean the element of fast and furious has to be absent. The ultra-fast XXL buggy Xspeed 3 is an ultra-fast vehicle, and because it is made to cross all kinds of rallye tracks, you don’t have to worry about damaging it driving it across dirt and rocks.

Idea 3: The boat hasn’t sailed yet… Have a great adventure with a remote-controlled boat.

Who doesn’t love the view of a beautiful pond / lake? And you can do more than just admiring it. Picture this: you have a picnic by a pond / lake, and the children start to get a bit bored, and you take out a remote-controlled boat, and you all watch as it glides beautifully on the water surface. You can even make it a fun race – who can swim faster, you, the children, or the car? Just don’t forget to take proper cautions and check if swimming is permitted.

Torpedo

That’s just something captivating watching a boat sailing through the water fast. With its beautiful color and clean design, this one is one of all time favorites for children. It is able to move in all directions, so you can buy more than 1 and have each kid sail one to give chase to one another!

Idea 4: A battle game with laser blasters

Let’s face it, even within a family, we can’t help competing against each other sometimes. And it doesn’t mean it has to be unhealthy and unfun, in fact, inject the competitive spirits into a laser tag game, and you can work out (lots of running!) and find out the importance of team work at the same time. (plus, yeah, being able to boast about beating your siblings in a game is always cool).

LAZERMAD

LAZERMAD has all you need for a fun laser tag game. What’s more, each person can have 20 life points, so it is not going to be a fast game, it will be a game that requires the players to be patient and strategic.

The LAZER MAD blaster is made up of a tactical pack allowing the player to combine their blaster to adapt it to the game mode. Do you want a blaster with a powerful blast, but with a shorter blasting range? Or do you want to be sneaky, so you go for a blaster that has a longer range but you sacrifice a bit of the firepower?

There are more customization options to make your blaster truly unique and yours, so the fun of finding out your most optimal battling mode will be a fun experiment and challenge. You can also organize epic games with your family and friends – be it indoor or outdoor; indoor for a quick fun game, and outdoor for a day of exciting battles.
